Vibrant hues of azure, emerald, and goldenrod dominate the sun-drenched facade of a local building in the PenÃnsula Valdés region, where a playful mural celebrates the craft of brewing. At the center of the composition stands a stylized, anthropomorphic guanaco, an iconic camelid of the Patagonian steppe, rendered with a knowing smirk and draped in a white brewer's apron. The whimsical creature is depicted mid-action, delicately dropping bright green hop cones into a polished, silver brewing vat. This striking piece of street art bridges the gap between the wild, untamed nature of this UNESCO World Heritage site and the region's burgeoning artisanal craft beer culture. I got to gather with my siblings today so I decorated my page with some of the gift wrap I had around my packages and I journaled on teh gift card I found lying around. It was such a fun day!!
