Shot this during golden hour in Madrid with my Sony A6700 and Sigma 16mm f/1.4. I usually work with the 56mm, so going wide was a bit of an adjustment, but I really enjoyed the perspective. Edited in Lightroom to bring out the warmth of the buildings against the blue sky.

This was one of the first images I made with the new macro lens. It was soft. In fact, most of my first images with that lens were soft. Each lens behaves in its own peculiar manner, and you have tho learn the strengths of a new lens by experimentation. I certainly learned this behavior of this lens straightaway. It's a macro-- shallow DOF and camera shake have to be addressed.
