The city of Barcelona is always worth the visit. This being my sixth time in town, I decided to make "Creative Travel" my motto, exploring the beautiful backstreets of the old town in new ways, for instance during a "Devouring Barcelona" Food Tour, a fashion or a bicycle tour. I also went dancing & cooking , plus on a very beautiful day walk around charming Barceloneta ..!

National Veterans Creative Arts Festival

Healing through the arts – Since 1989, the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival and competition have helped Veterans develop new skills and talents, recognizing the incredible healing power of the arts. The event spotlights the five creative arts categories of art, drama, dance, music and creative writing. Veterans enter local competitions in the performing and visual arts divisions at VA health care facilities across the Nation. Each year, the first-place winning entries from the local sites advance to the national level of competition. Creative Experience in Barcelona with Barcelona Cooking.
A family from Washington DC, a young couple of reporters from Mumbai, a professor from Quebec and an Italian journalist took part in a cooking class in Barcelona. After discovering the shopping secrets at the singular Boqueria Market they then experiment with the authentic recipes of the most famous spanish meals: Gazpacho, Sea Food Paella,Boquerones with Romesco Sauce and Catalan Cream.
