National Veterans Creative Arts Festival
Recovery, Rehabilitation, Recognition
Healing through the arts – Since 1989, the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival and competition have helped Veterans develop new skills and talents, recognizing the incredible healing power of the arts. The event spotlights the five creative arts categories of art, drama, dance, music and creative writing. Veterans enter local competitions in the performing and visual arts divisions at VA health care facilities across the Nation. Each year, the first-place winning entries from the local sites advance to the national level of competition.
