Where the gaze lingers, stories begin.
Portrait of a man with short dark hair and facial hair, wearing a black shirt, resting one hand under his chin, and looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression, against a plain background.
Apparently this staggered method of putting in the blocks help scatter forces that otherwise would crack the wall.

"It is hard to get creative poses for the portrait. Sometimes you may rely on luck to get new ideas"

It was Rashed's idea to do this pose. He is my friend, and the first one who pushed me to photography. We had fun in our first shooting together with my new camera, Canon 30D.

Dress up your nails with these creative Nail Art designs.
Mindy's office at the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce did a complete renovation of their space. One of the best features is the bathroom. They had artist Mike Chearney come in and he and the staff "threw paint" all over the bathroom. It looks really cool. I made a 'scrapblog' about it that you can see at:
dalydose.scrapblog.com/chamberbathpaint/ *I took all the pictures! ;-) They even decided to display my "Creative Hands" pictures outside of the bathroom. I guess that means I'm on display in West Hollywood. =)

(Just a quick edit to say this isn't meant to be a comprehensive tutorial by any means. It's more a walk-thru of how I'm going about creating a new pattern for a doll dress)
I tried a different creative process by drafting a pattern differently from my usual measuring and trying out. This method isn't always as perfect as it might seem, it works well for corsets and seems a lot easier than measuring up every little measurement on a doll and calculating what goes where.
I started off with a layer of clingfilm to protect the doll. (Saran food wrap) Often, I have old doll bodies lying around to do evil experiments on, but this is a quite valuable Barbie Basics doll. I don't have any spare Barbies at present, so I have to use her. The clingfilm also stops the masking tape sticking to the doll. AND serves another purpose. the layers of clingfilm thicken the torso slightly, so that give me my 'ease'. Ease is what you need to allow so a garment isn't skin tight. When adding skirts and linings, a bit of ease makes life much easier.
Once dollieh was fully and tightly wrapped with clingfilm I started placing strips of masking tape so it all fits flush and snugly to the doll's contours. I only ever use one side of the torso wrapping to make my pattern. It gives for better symmetry. Once I have my basic half-pattern, I flip it over and trace it to produce and almost perfectly symmetrical pattern.
You can see the growing design in order here in my "Creative Process" set

To explain this picture I will better start from the beginning. Well I was watching Styling Forward yesterday and they get a challenge for next week what I liked a lot and even I am not in this contest I like challenges a lot. So I decided for myself I do this one just for fun.
The challenge was "Superhero" and may some have a superhero in mind like a girl in very tight short pants and a cape and maybe some with big boobs also, but for me a superhero is someone very tough even if it is a woman. Superheros are fighter, protector and I tried to create my view of a superhero with this kind of mystique, darkness and a bit creepy around her.
My character is named "Isais the Hunter" as she protect all human from creatures out of the hell who comes up to rule the world in their way.
Isais is born out of exactly that what she tries to destroy now. She is a creature out of the hell but with a human mother. As all heros have a little helper, hers is the dead dragon Makrok on her shoulder to give her tips and sometimes the right decision also. And as it is in comics, of course he is talking to much^^
Isais weapons are her power who are more strong then of a normal human, her titanium katanas what she always wears on her left hip with skulls at the end and her, she calls it her "Babies", the Sickles what she wears on her back if she don´t need them.
As I know that this challenge is next week I will not write some credits below. So it is just a picture to watch and to enjoy :D
