... Black in the Back.
After I'd turned the air a very nasty dark blue, trying to paint the background black, G very kindly went to the nearest supermarket to buy some new triple A batteries for my usable mouse. Thank you, Darling.

Way back in 2010 when I retired to move to Minnesota my co-workers gave me this hat. They thought I would need it in Minnesota.

Como todas las rosas con el fuego te turbas,
te sujeta la tierra y mi aroma te agita.
Fiera conmovida, pareces una rosa
y parece que mi tacto entibia tus espinas.

This was taken from a beautiful bouquet I received from my daughter, Haley.
I placed the stem in a vase and stood the vase on a stool in front of a frosted side window next to my front door...... it worked for me !!!

Lucretia's hilarious great Aunt Hilda is always lots of fun to visit. Hilda insists that the ill-fitting wig helps her to look centuries younger, but Lucretia thinks it just makes her look a little crazy!

Any one know what type of spider this is? And why does it have such a crazy web? I'm guessing its to camouflage the white spider which otherwise would have been fairly noticeable. Not seen anything like it before.
Any way looking a bit brighter here now so heading out with the dog and camera.
Taken in Costa Rica.

Though its offical name is Crazy Creek Falls, this feature is not a typical waterfall but is a "sloping fan" found along the Beartooth Highway east of the northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park. The falls occur where its namesake creek accelerates down a 560-foot long ramp of bedrock, creating a huge waterslide which drops about 120 feet in total. The maximum slope angle is about 30 degrees so no free fall of water but when swollen with snow melt as it was this day it is an unusal, noisy and impressive sight.
Das Crazy Horse Memorial ist eine monumentale Skulptur zu Ehren des Oglala-Lakota-Indianers Crazy Horse.
The Crazy Horse Memorial is a mountain monument under construction on privately held land in the Black Hills, in Custer County, South Dakota, United States. It will depict the Oglala Lakota warrior Crazy Horse, riding a horse and pointing to his tribal land.
"Life is like a patchwork quilt and each little piece is a day. Some are bright and sunny, some are cloudy and grey."
An old crazy quilt that I picked up somewhere. It's not in great condition, but obviously was made with love and was well loved by someone. It appears to have been made from old clothes. It has very thick cotton batting and is really heavy. It must have been so cozy sleeping under it!
For Macro Monday group's theme.... Cloth/Textile. One of my favorite things!
THIS is a shot of the crazy ass bit*hes who attacked RP
and, this is a shot i took a good HOUR before they attacked him
it's so funny, i'm standing there, and i was a far distance from them, i zoomed in w/ my good camera...
so, i'm standing there and i'm like "those women look CRAZY"
and, really, who the fuck brings an edward cullen bag to the set of an rp movie?
that's a little much.
if you're 12, i'll forgive you. but, as you can see, these are adult women.
sure enough, soon after i took this photo, they broke loose from their cage and mauled the man
so so so inappropriate!
