Thank You ALL So MUCH for your support through this terrible time. You have no idea how greatful I am to you all. Being away from home for so long and without my family you guys became my family. Filled me with so much Love and support, I can't even begin to tell you how much it meant to me. Thanks to all the wonderful comments and e-mails I stayed saine during tragic time. Bless you all. (just got home today - will catch up slowly)

In Germany and Austria the 2CV is called by the nickname "Ente" (= duck)
According to Wikipedia, this designation was adopted from the Netherlands, where a journalist in 1948 referred to the car at first sight as "de lelijke eend(je)" ("the ugly duckling"), after the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
I do not think that this nickname does justice to such a unique vehicle, and therefore I rename it the "Crazy Duckling" : ))
I once rode in a green "duck" of a classmate - the cornering was quite something special (we had a lot of fun) !

The Maeklong train passing through 'Talat Rom Hup' (umbrella pulldown market).
Wikipedia: Samut Songkhram's main station, Maeklong railway station, is on the Maeklong Railway. The railway is known for its route through the Maeklong Railway Market. It is one of the largest seafood markets in Thailand, and is centered on the Maeklong Railway's track. Whenever a train approaches, the awnings and shop fronts are moved back from the rails, to be replaced once the train has passed.
While walking the Thames Path, I saw this crazy fence with optical illusion.

Well we've loaded the motor home and heading to St. Louis today. Our youngest son graduates Thursday from police academy. He will be a police officer in a suburb town near St. Louis. So when I get TIME I will try to connect and comment for sure. But all take care and be safe.
