Westfield Chatswood was the stage for The Voice winner Harrison Craig today.
Harrison performed and signed copies of his brand new album.
After winning an emotionally charged grand finale on Australia’s most popular music TV show The Voice, the series-favourite Harrison Craig will now travel the country meeting his fans and celebrating the release of his debut album ‘More Than A Dream’.
Harrison will make an appearance at The Concourse 11am, Thursday 4 July, at the outdoor lower terrace, adjacent to Westfield Chatswood.
As usual, he sounded and looked great, and obviously has a wonderful future ahead.
Well done to everyone who helped make today possible.

I’ve been a huge fan of Jem and the Holograms for a long while now and one of my favourite characters was Craig Phillips. Not only was he the brother of my favourite Misfit, he was written to be a nice character without it seeming bland or to give Aja a love interest. Plus his blue hair and you know I’m a sucker.
I thought Craig would be out of my hands for a long time cuz of aftermarket prices but I found an Australian seller who was selling him for pretty much retail pricing and after agonising over it for a few weeks I got him.
While he looks nothing like the show character with his lovingly long locks and youthful face, you can tell fans of the show designed him. His shirt is a nice deep fuchsia colour instead of the hot pink I keep seeing him in, and the texture really looks like a polo top.
His belt is pleather and woven fabric, his pants have working pockets AND they’re fully lined. His socks are alright but his shoes are the best part I think. They’re this suede-like texture with top stitching and lined insides and generally super cool. It’s definitely worth the price and I feel very happy to marvel at these items.
His drum set has a LOT of parts and took me awhile to get them together. I’m kind of disappointed you have to pick *one* band (Jem and the Holograms or Blue Bloods from the episode “Britrock”) to put the logo on the bass drum so I left it blank but otherwise I’m amazed at the detail of it all.
My only complaint is the fact the drumsticks are made for a female doll, not this doll’s hands because the grip parts are too narrow for Craig.
But yeah, as my very first full set Integrity Toys doll, I’m so very happy with what I got and I can really see why they have such fan loyalty. It’s not 100% perfect but the pros definitely outweigh the cons and I can see the love and care that went into making this show-only character that had 3 episodes.
Craig is trying to take a nap here, after our hike in from the TGV station -- but look at what a great place this was! Stone walls, tile floors, HUGE beams in the ceiling, nice large bathroom with the coveted (by me) bathtub, graceful old wooden furniture, none of that awful generic motel stuff. One woman seemed to run the entire place by herself, with the assistance of her friendly dog, who escorted us up the stairs, waited patiently in front of the door we'd been assigned (#9), and the went in ahead of us to check it out. Other than the occasional rumble of a train pulling into town, this hotel was very quiet, and made a nice little hideaway for us in Avignon.
After getting settled a bit, we walked through the main part of town, got some dinner, and then came home & went to sleep early for a change. Definitely a slower pace than the big city had been! Our overriding impression of Avignon was that it was definitely less chic than Paris -- the cafes were more ordinary, the music they played less hip, the high school kids out in the public square eating their lunches weren't dressed as trendily -- like going to Fresno after spending several days in San Francisco. An interesting contrast.

craig wanted something that mimicked the type of lighting painted in "Cupid Chastised". This is the end result. I'm not sure how well I replicated that 'style' for him, but I like the outcome.

Ailsa Craig lies nine miles offshore, rising to 1,109 feet. The dramatic seacliffs are home to the third largest gannetry in the UK - comprising 36,000 pairs - with a supporting cast of guillemots, razorbills, black guillemots and increasing numbers of puffins.
It is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Protection Area because it supports 73,000 breeding seabirds. It dominates the outer Clyde; often referred to as Paddy's milestone, it lies halfway between Glasgow and Belfast.
Craig House used to be a psychiatric hospital which closed in the mid-90's. It then became part of Edinburgh Napier University and was sold again for commercial development in 2011. At least this is what Wikipedia tells me. It is a fanatstic building with beautiful views over Edinburgh.
