Courthouse Towers is a collection of tall sandstone towers, through which Park Avenue moves through.
There seems to be some data suggesting that the Tower of Babel, Sheep Rock and the Courthouse Towers were once connected by giant, long-since fallen arches.

Named for one of the framers of the Texas Declaration of Independence, Dimmit County was created from four other counties in 1858. The county was formally organized in 1880, and Carrizo Springs was chosen as the county seat.
On November 12, 1883, the county commissioners court chose noted architect Alfred Giles to design a permanent courthouse for Dimmit County. Later that month, on November 26, the court reversed its decision and selected J. C. Breeding & Sons of San Antonio to act as both architects and builders. Probably working from Giles' initial plans, they erected a structure which featured a double gallery porch. The building's cubical form and Italianate detailing resemble Giles' designs for other Texas courthouses erected about the same time.
By the 1920s, the thriving Dimmit County needed a larger government facility. The commissioners court called in Henry T. Phelps to design an expansion. At Phelps' instruction, the San Antonio Construction Company demolished the north second story wall, removing exterior rock from the lower north and south walls and adding new, longer wings on each end. As was his custom, Phelps worked along a Classical Revival plan, requiring a symmetrical façade. He relocated the main entrance to the west side of the building, highlighting it with four massive columns and a recessed porch. The 19th century windows were widened, and Phelps changed the Second Empire roofline to an elaborate cornice. The architectural character of the Dimmit County Courthouse was transformed from a simplified Italianate style of the late 1880s to the restrained Classicism popular in the 1920s. The Spink County Courthouse is a three story brick and limestone building designed in the Classical Revival style of architecture. This style of architecture was very popular for public buildings throughout the country from 1900 to 1920 and again from 1925 to 1950. Some of this building's most prominent features in this style are its classical columns and symmetrical façade that features balanced windows and a central door.
The Spink County Courthouse is significant for both its architectural design, as mentioned above, as well as its role as the symbolic and functional seat of government for Spink County. Since the buildings construction in 1927, the building has housed most of the county's administrative, operational and judicial functions, while simultaneously serving as the official repository for county records.
The courthouse was designed by Beaver Wade Day from the architectural firm of Tolz, King and Day in St. Paul, Minnesota. Day was involved in several projects that are now on the National Register including two other county courthouses, one in North Dakota and one in Minnesota. The only major alteration to the building was in the 1990s when the original multi-lights were replaced with more modern fixed sash windows.
The building remains an architecturally and historically significant symbol of the importance of local government for the county.
Hundreds of local residents attended the dedication ceremony for the Willows Courthouse in Glenn County.
Clay county courthouse Corning AR, designed by Charles Thompson, built in 1966 replacing the 1899 courthouse. This design was also used for the Eastern District courthouse at Piggott.
