Minchinhampton Old Course is situated in the delightful Cotwolds, some 3 miles from the town of Stroud. The Club is set on Minchinhampton Common, an unspoiled area of outstanding natural beauty, close to the picturesque village of Amberley and the small market town of Minchinhampton. The course is over 120 years old.

Eurofighter GmbH Typhoon FGR4 s/n ZK305 from No.XI Squadron landing on Runway 05 at RAF Lossiemouth. WARLORD 52 was returning from another Combined Qualified Weapons Instructor (CQWI) course mission on October 10th 2012.
The spoons contain smoked sheep's butter. On the plate are charred potatoes atop charcoal that is torched and placed under a dome just before serving to add a little smoke. Potato goes on the spoon and the whole thing is eaten in one bite. As Mr. A described it, "It was the best baked potato ever, essentially." Not a burnt flavor to be had, just crispy on the outside and the fluffiest baked potato flavor in the center. Combine that with the soft, smoky butter, and it was an exercise in texture.
Oysters a la russe. The second hors d’oeuvres served at the beginning of the feast. Freshly shucked oysters were topped with a tomato relish spiked with vodka, horseradish and a hint of SupiCucu’s Diablo’s Fuego.
Canapés a l’Amiral. This was one of two hors d’oeuvres served with prosecco. This one featured crostini topped with a creamy shrimp butter, poached shrimp and fish roe.

Built by American soldiers during their occupation of the chaguaramas peninsula, it is now a public course and is opposite the entrance of the Edith Falls trail.

Had some people over for dinner last night to thank them for being such good and helpful friends.
First course: shrimp croquettes with veggies or for the ones that don't eat fish: the cheese variant.
main course: french fries, veggies and fish with a mushroom/peppersauce. Or steak with peppersauce.
No pics because I was running around like a mad man trying to get everything at the same time on the table. Didn't work btw.
Dessert: ice cream with (too expensive) strawberries and raspberry sauce. Or chocolate sprinklers if you don't like the fruit thingies.
