A RAAF plane took off in the shared runway with our QANTAS flight in Newcastle Airport. It looks just like a collision from this angle.
Red-tailed Hawk
Deer's Leap, Lake George
This is "Fancy Pants" from last weekend. After takeoff it put on an aerobatic show for me, weaving around trees and dodging cliff outcrops. Looked like a joyride, but was probably looking for rodents.

This migrant seemed to be all alone except it was hanging out with a black-necked stilt. (Also unusual for us, but a little less so.)
American Avocet, Recurvirostra americana
An large space of common salt scoured by wind and rain into jagged spires. Therefore improbably saw-toothed that "only the devil may play golf on such rough links. Listen rigorously and you will hear feels like small pops and pings - the sound is virtually billions of small salt crystals detonating apart as they expand and accept the warmth.
While walking along the beach to reach the far end I noticed these people were taking part photography course. I thought it'd be fun to capture them!

This course in Baltimore County is adjacent to the center for MD agriculture and farm park which we visited last week - HTMT!
A single light may guide, but it cannot chart the way. To follow blindly is to drift, lost in the waves, trusting a beacon that only marks a point, not the path. The journey demands more than the comfort of a distant glow—it requires a map of stars, a course plotted through both calm and storm. We must navigate with purpose, knowing the light is but a guidepost, not the journey’s end. Only with our eyes on the horizon and our course set can we find our way home.

Just a short distance to Karasawa. On the left is the panoramic course that can only be walked in autumn, where beautiful autumn leaves can be seen.
涸沢まであとわずか。左手は秋だけ通行可能なパノラマコースで、綺麗な紅葉が見られました。入り口は良いけどその先、徳沢までは上級者向けです。

I took this on the Garage Studios, Holga & Diana Camera Workshop. Had fun and learnt loads about how a Holga works (never used one before). The course was taught by the brownhorse. Highly recommend signing up for the next one, or any of their courses. Learn loads and have fun with a camera – what more can you ask for, really?
