Cambodia, officially known as the Kingdom of Cambodia (Preăh Réachéanachâk KâmpÅchéa) and once known as the Khmer Empire, is a country located in the southern portion of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. Its total landmass is 181,035 square kilometres (69,898 sq mi), bordered by Thailand to the northwest, Laos to the northeast, Vietnam to the east, and the Gulf of Thailand to the southwest.

As we head towards the Summer solstice in the northern hemisphere, poppies are popping up everywhere. The bright scarlet blooms are definitely one of my favourite wild flowers.

Same mistake as previous shot: I left the ISO setting on 1600 which makes the photo - theoretically - less contrasty than it would be at ISO 100. The final result is still satisfying.
The scene near Zeliv was illuminated by the beautiful evening golden sunlight and the young green colors of the spring season radiate in this photo.
I love my adopted home of Denmark, and am bad about capturing its beauty. Far too often I'm lost in my photo backlog, or showcasing the city's streets. But, occasionally I do escape into Denmark's countryside and it never disappoints. These photos were taken during a day spend chasing yellow fields outside of Holbæk in the western region of Sjælland.
