For Macro Mondays...Remedy. Some hot tea, honey and lemon. Great for a cough and cold. Sometimes, at night, a little whiskey helps. :))
A Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) gets rid of a pellet in SW Florida. I was lucky to capture the very moment when this owl opened his mouth, preparing to cough the pellet. Here are some interesting facts about owl pellets: www.carolina.com/teacher-resources/Interactive/basic-info...
I will say that I've been a bit too ambitious with SHIPtember 2016, but this is something that is very doable. And Simon, you now what you've gotta do... come to Brick Bash! ;)
Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted!
God bless!
BTW, the art isn't mine, I just found it online. :)
Sorry, I'm busy with my little princess! High fever and coughing terrible!
When she's asleep, she is having little shocks caused by the fever! When she wakes up, she's almost in panic!
Have a nice day you'll and I hope to be back tomorrow!
Sorry, Manon is ziek.
A pair of tired GE C40-8s and a single EMD SD40-2 pull Union Pacific's Pocatello, Idaho to Yermo, California manifest along former D&RGW rails at Riverton, Utah on June 24, 1995.
I've got a bit of a cough so I'm taking some cough mixture. The directions say "two 5ml teaspoonsful*" but it is so nasty that I don't think I'd want to take the second one so I get it over with by taking one 10ml dessertspoonful :-(
*The US flickr dictionary doesn't like this but the mighty OED gives this as the plural of spoonful.

Ha ha! I was taking pictures of some seagulls in a parking lot but I couldn't get close enough. I figured I could tempt them closer with food, but I didn't have any.
What I did have is a cough drop (Hall's Cherry). I threw that and the flurry of gulls was impressive but I didn't get any useful pictures. This guy was the winner, but he didn't like the taste...or maybe because it was sugar free.

A great white egret chick stimulates the parent to regurgitate some food by grasping its bill and pulling the parent's head down! I often wonder how a behavior like this evolves!
For many years the forces of Arbenheim have tested their neighboring kings power by pillaging border villages. In an attempt protect his people the king ordered small encampments around the borders. One location was the homestead of Maerwynn, an important location as it was host to one of the few mills in the area. The kings intuition had been right, for only a fortnight later did the horns of Arbenheim sound in the village of Maerwynn.
A collaboration between SirWilsonBricks and myself for the CBS 2017. His is the left, my side is on the right.
Hay, after me finally finishing editing (which is a bit sloppy in places) here it is :D This was our main build for the show and it is the biggest build to date for both of us. It was great fun planning, skyping, planning, bricklinking, more planning and finally building this whoppa. If I could change a couple things I probably would (namely the ground texturing on my side) but it still came out looking incredible. The reception we got at the CBS was also great, with loads of people loving. I must say though, I may have stared a kid to death after he said "Hey mum, look NEXO KNIGHTS"
Speaking of the CBS, it was a real blast and getting to know people better, meeting new people was awesome :) and of course seeing new creations (cough David Hense... Cough) Cannot wait to next year to see everyone again.
Another creation on the way and hope you enjoy, C&C always wanted.
I found some close ups on a few parts here they are:
