The cough mother chapel in Postmünster an der Rott, it was built in 1748. People with sore throats and coughs used to make pilgrimages to the chapel and hoped for recovery. That's where the name comes from.
Wheatear bringing up a pellet 🤔 Never seen this before and happy to be corrected. Only noticed it going through shots once home. Sadly i missed the head shake and dispersal.
A great walk towards Cwm Nash, and the spectacular headland where the coughs nest. ( Nice Dream) is a fantastic track by Radiohead and is perfect for my late evening walks along the beach, all alone with the sky sea and cliffs. A really nice dream.
after the cough's approaching, it moved to one of my friends and got a piece of bread from his hand!
What a treat to be able to combine wildlife and landscape photography! Alpine coughs are part of the crow family. They pair for life, may nest at higher altitudes than any other bird and they quite like my cereal bars!
Looking out from Old Parliament House into the smoke haze from bush fires. Canberra. On a clear day you can easily see across the lake, past the Australian War Memorial building and the hills beyond.
Today’s theme for the Macro Monday’s group is MEDICAL. This is a photo of the top of a small bottle of cough mixture.
Thanks for visiting.
HMM.....
I know... not the most ladylike admission, but there ya go. You get the real me (sadly). The clothes however, did nothing wrong and you should come see what's happening on the blog - readmeri.wordpress.com/2019/04/29/i-guff-when-i-cough/
Macro Mondays: "Heart"
COVID finally caught me last week. I got great care and have gotten past most of the cold/flu symptoms. This simple over-the-counter cough drop was a staple in the first few days of the infection. A little heart shaped bokeh for effect.
The image is about 5 cm (2 inches) on the long edge.
Government has declared an end to most of the anti-Covid-19 guidelines during the next couple of weeks. Apparently there's less coughing...
Tussilago down through the millennia has served as an antidote to coughing as indeed its name suggests. But it does apparently wreak havoc on the liver. So it must be used with caution.
I've posted an earlier picture of our Sunny plant from Groningen (www.flickr.com/photos/87453322@N00/8650629309/in/photolis...). This one though was taken yesterday in Shaffy's Tuin here in Amsterdam.
*Cough cough*
Now continuing from my previous photos caption.
"I imagine the rays of lights are the angels of the interwebs coming to collect Flickrs long lost...dead soul. "
The angles of light have also come for my many long lost...long dead followers. Are you still here? Seriously.

I always enjoy a trip over to Dartmoor in order to try and photograph some of the autumn colours. This year I planned two new locations on the north eastern side of the moor.
Excited as ever my two companions Hoof🐎 and Horace🐷 were on it like a rash, like many they are trying to reduce their carbon footprint and in doing so have firstly been bottling up their botty coughs💨💨 instead of letting the wind blow free so to speak and sending this gas off to the recycling facility, poor recycling centre operatives🙈.
Secondly H & H have been putting their engineering backgrounds to good use and have built themselves an electric car powered by old washing machine motors they have collected, a form of upcycling you could say🚙.
Car loaded off we went, Horace at the helm of the electric car, all was going well, we crossed the boarder from Cornwall into Devon without being challenged. Just about to take the road to our first location the electric car ground to a shuddering halt😱.
Horace looked embarrassed, Hoof laughed, I asked Horace watt (oh dear) he thought the problem was, Horace responded “I didn’t realise the journey was as far, we are going to need a longer cable.
Thank you so much for viewing my photos, the comments and banter are so appreciated, have a lovely weekend.

"I coughed a lot last night and kept both my mom and me up lots of the night. So I got zoomed off to see Dr. Bahou at 9 a.m. He touched my throat without permission and so I hacked a big cough at him. He said, 'Yes, Bordetella - AKA Kennel Cough'.
Really? I don't go to kennels or even to the dog park because I eat tennis balls. So now I have to take a pill twice a day which is hidden in something yummy. I can easily work it around and spit it out but then it gets put on the back of my tongue and I have to swallow. Ugh!
The worst part is no playing with Gracie for 10 days!! That's right, 10 days! I'm upset and will not look at that camera, just going to sit here with my favorite toy and look unhappy."
My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Candy".

My Grandfather had a bad cough, but he smoked cigars. The teacher shakes his head as this was not the answer he was looking for.
It looks like we will have two weeks for some Quaffing.... Ontario is going to be in lockdown.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
I was watching this female Kingfisher as it sat quite quietly . I decided to put on the 2x converter to see how it stood up quality wise on the 600. Just as I switched the camera back on and refocused on her, she started acting very strange....... well I thought, it is a female lol. Then all of a sudden she regurgitated this huge fish pellet. I knew they did such things, but had never seen it before !!
