This dog was called Cossette and I had the fortune to help her when she needed it most. It was in August 2018 that I rescued her after being run over and I could give to her a little more than two years of affection and comfort, since unfortunately, she passed away on October 7, 2020.

This Tea dress is a perfect outfit for an afternoon tea party! It is made with delicate velvet lace ribbon and was hand crafted with the usual ingredient: tea and love.

Cossette decided to take on one of the most iconic dresses ever. It is the dress Snow White was wearing in the famous film from the golden age of Hollywood. Its a modernized yet classical take on the beautiful outfit most of us have seen on the silver screen. It was not easy since the film version is perfect, yet it was an irresistible pull to try to replicate some of that drawn perfection in fabric. While sewing and putting it together there was an unmistakable sensation of a revival of distant moments of a far away childhood in the air. It is a nice and cosy sensation to be able to bring back, even for a few moments the youthful impressions, the long gone moments of snow white innocence of childhood magic and all the things we like. Its like waking up from a deep, long sleep. It priceless and it is fun!

This is a lovely custom case doll presentation inside a basket trunk with all the charm of a vintage case doll. What you will find inside the strong yet light wicker case is a tiny plastic doll which is 20cm tall, her four dresses, one petticoat, two pairs of Mary Jane shoes, one black and one white, a pair of tiny socks, panties, four hair ribbons for every dress plus a small rococo box where the ribbons and an extra pair of shoes fit nicely in. In addition Marie's small friend who always travels with her, a tiny black cat, is also included! Everything is securely attached to the box with ribbons and tiny pins, every item is easy to remove and use as well as to be put back in its place inside the box.

The doll is made from two different vintage dolls. Her face is slightly customized by me, the hair is rich with a lot of volume, only a few hair plugs are missing but you don't notice it considering the richness of the hair in general. Her body is in a very good condition and the head and the body both attach perfectly.

Everything is handmade with a lot of care and dedication and makes for a wonderful small compact doll case which when opened offers charm. Everything fits inside the brand new wicker suitcase, bought especially for this little project. Its measurements are 25 com x 17 cm x 9 cm.

This roses oil painting has been in my collection for about 20 years now. It dates to the late 1800's and came from the East Hamptons, titled "Love's Offering". It's perfect for a backdrop for my girls today in their pink dresses! Happy Friday Everyone!

....She is so perfect in every way.

This pink coat and this little hat, both are inspired by the styles of the 50s & the 60s! A lovely coat for your lovely small girls... with a separate collar that attaches to the coat. As always its hand made with passion, great care plus lots of fun!

Dreaming to be in a fairytale.

Sorry for the totally different editing tones; I was experimenting with these photos. ^^;

her new dress and new wig

When things can’t be pink they are polka dot in black and white. Why not? Simple - 2 colors, contrast and simplicity. Some seriousness with a touch of mysteriously dark elegance. Inspired by the ever-changing weather and atmosphere of the British Isles. When you think its going to be sunny it is raining and it is windy, you turn back, stay home and listen to some classical music. Warm tea and the notes of Voughan Williams’ Fantasia fill the space around the design table. Anything is possible! Enjoy and make your own world and story...

Sometimes there is just no side story to a new dress, your mind is blank or simply thinking about a new or exiting dress that’s at the back of your head slowly coming together in the mind’s eye. One thing is sure black and yellow go well together and as always at Cossette it is a pleasure and a dream come true being able to come up with these little Blythe collections. Thank you for playing with Cossette, kind regards and thanks for visiting and your nice words.

This outfit speaks for itself and it is as bright and warm as sunlight. It has the air of a great empire, opulence, ancestral treasures, ambitions and rivers of gold. Some of this royalty and elegance tinkled down and made its way into this outfit! It was sewn meticulously by hand one delicate piece at a time with the quiet dedication and patience of a loyal and passionate seamstress. This dress will put your girls into the brightest of spotlights, into the realm of divine, since that is what gold is. A divine element!

Georgie: "Only a few more days to eat these candy canes and other Christmas treats. Unless your Mom is like mine and says the holiday candy is our only dessert until it's gone!"

This tea spoon turned fashion accessory, was originally found stuck between wooden floor boards of an early 19th century Georgian home. Inside a grand ground floor flat where meals were served, stories told, laughter herd and servants' tears shed. Somewhere in there a servant must have dropped it while clearing the table. It belonged to a wealthy family - a house favourite! Bought up in The Unicorn antique shop of New Town from amongst many similar useless oddities of the 21st century. It matches with black to perfection and offers glorious and nostalgic vintage chic together with the dress. The story does not end there however because the servant girl who was wrongly named responsible for loosing the family ancestral spoon was dismissed at once. She ended up sailing for the New World where she found love and fortune. The family whom she served ended up loosing theirs, eventually moving out into unknown completely broke and in debt. They sold their all to pay off bad credits and reclaim an ounce of former glory - all in vain.

Brigitta is wearing a French inspired outfit from pre-revolutionary days. The outfit is what you might wear if you are a queen planning to role play as a peasant, farmer's wife or a farm hand for a day or two at Versailles' little wonderland garden. Just don't get dirty and do be careful, there is talk in town of an uprising and the air is filled with revolutionary ideas. They might be coming for you... watch your head or else the roses will turn red! The set is hand sewn with key details in mind and a touch of magic.
