this is the flower of ulam raja kuning plant (in Malay), literally translated as 'yellow king's salad'
English: Cosmos Yellow (many thanks to Radhika, my brilliant friend)
Botanical name: Cosmos sulphureus
Family: Asteraceae (Sunflower family)
It is also seen in orange, white, pink and mixed colour and are named accordingly by its colour.
This flower is native of Mexico!!!
As I have practiced it, photography produces pleasure by simplicity. I see something special and show it to the camera. A picture is produced. The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.

this was the frist time i planted cosmos sulphureus and they are a winner--prolific red, orange, yellow ,and gold blossoms--see below for close up
