The closed up shot of an upside down monk alms-bowl shape stone on the summit of Mt Khitchakut.
Khao Khitchakut national park is fertile and green. For waterfall lovers, there are three dazzling falls here called Klong Chang Se, Kra-ting and Klong Kra-sue in the middle of scenic landscape.
More importantly, a large number of worshippers climb the towering mountain of Khao Khitchakut to the top in order to pay reverence to the footprint of Lord Buddha. "Bloodroot Bud" by Patti Deters.
One of the first native perennial flowers to bloom in my Zone 4 garden, the creamy white bud of the medicinal herb Bloodroot ('Sanquinaria canadensis' also known as Bloodwort, Indian Paint, Tetterwort, Sankebite, Red Root, or Sweet Slumber) is tiny but sparkles brightly with morning dew. The flower will be bright white, and if you crush the roots they will ooze a red-colored substance that is poisonous to livestock, but which can be used for dye and is where the common name of bloodroot comes from. A simple soft bokeh texture has been added to the photograph for artistic effect. Please enjoy more of my (floral, texture, more) images at patti-deters.pixels.com/featured/bloodroot-bud-patti-dete....
