Got cookies?
This gorgeous Blythe doll is Coquette Lumiere, posing with her Sonny Angel friend for Winter Celebration in Blythe Pure and Simple on Facebook. That’s a Barbie apron and Hallmark ornament mixing bowls.
Cookie was my mom's cat. After my mom left this world a few years ago, I had to find her cat a new home. I wasn't able to take her at the time because I had just given birth 3 days prior & couldn't deal with it all but I did manage to find her a wonderful home. Here she is about a month & half ago....she couldn't be more happier.
Halloween sample designs that I felt inspired to do after trying out a new Chocolate Minichip Cookies recipe from the book "Sugarbakers' Cookie Cutter Cookbook". Very easy recipe to work with... and I think I like these almost better than my traditional sugar cookies, yum! Some design inspirations from cakecentral, TracyLH, clipart graphics, and my talented Flickr friend who always make me try harder ;)
Lindsey loves these Starbucks Snowman cookies. They ran out of them last year, so we’ve bought them by the dozen for the freezer. Since my diabetes hit, I can’t eat them, but I get a broken off head every now and then.
Cookies for a picnic/birthday party. 3 birthdays were being celebrated . . . well 4 if you count our country's birthday! The gift cookie was inspired by - but nowhere near as good as Rollin in Dough's beautiful cookie www.flickr.com/photos/41254198@N02/4745275934/in/photostr...
Playing around with some new ideas. The trees were inspired by a sweatshirt I found in a catalog. The square leaf cookies idea came from a pillow in a catalog.
Saturday Self Challenge: Stiekem genoegen
The Sunday Challenge: Stapel in negatiefruimte

Saturday Self Challenge: Guilty Pleasure
The Sunday Challenge: Pile in negative space
For Saturday there is here an earlier photo of me of one of my guilty pleasures, so this time something different: cookies with a thick layer of chocolate.
For Sunday: at home I do have canned beans in store so I could imitate a head of state in a white house, seated behind canned beans , but I didn’t want to do that. More important, it wouldn’t deliver an appealing photo and that’s what it is about.
For the photo I put the cookies on a pile, put a special lamp on the right in front of the pile and directed upward, so the cookies were lightened from their underside.

-Mamãe, vc não gosta mais de mim? Pq me deixa esquecida no armário?
Cookie on the left is her at the shelter. Cookie on the right is her with us. Some say she's overweight (My father 😅), but I say we saved her from starving! It kinda scares me seeing her before 😂
I totally, 100% stole this packaging from Cookieartisan. I've always used these boxes, but I never once thought to line them with anything. (Hey Maryann, any hints on lining these easier? It was a pain! But sooo pretty!) I just love how they look all packaged up!
Just a few more days and then my cookie book (Het Koekboek) will be out!!
For those of you who are interested...
You can order (a Dutch copy of) the book and the cutters I designed for it like this 3D birdhouse on www.cakesbybien.nl after 13 september 2012. Their website is also translated in English and they accept international orders.
I meant to say the roofing section of your local hardware store. The roll I bought was about $8. I would like to reiterate please DO NOT use galvanized metal. It is treated with zinc. Although zinc is found in many items we use daily, metal coated in it is not safe for food preparation or storage.
50 cookies to be shipped out today for an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday. This customer is always fun, as my friend Diane in Conneticut does the cake! So we get to coordinate our work. :)
These were cookies I made for a friend's baby shower. She's one of my best 'customers' and I always love making cookies for her because she usually gives me full control on design.
extra large oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (donations for a fundraiser) -- it was a bit of a trick to get them exactly big enough to fit through the hole in the top
Yes, and dirty cookies, too! They looked so plain by themselves that I thought I'd add a bow. Figured that was a more tasteful choice than hair.
Today I made some chocolate cookies to bring when Lisa and I met. We visited a location where we probably want to shoot this spring. ;)
Hopefully the weather will be good tomorrow so I can shoot the first picture for my crown-project. I honestly cannot wait any longer for better weather and for sun light. It drives me crazy that I cannot shoot anything as I want the perfect light.
This week's 52Frame assignment focuses on food photography, specifically on the theme of "baking." For my photo, my wife prepared some cookie dough that we had stored in our freezer. This cookie dough was made by my sister-in-law, who is an excellent baker and makes the best cookies.
These are not my cookies! Well, they are now! LOL
These are the amazing gorgeous sparkly cookies I received from my secret cookie queen! I wish you could really see all the sparkle and glimmer that is on these cookies. They are simply breath taking! Thank you! Thank you ! Thank you!
The card was her inspiration and I think she nailed it.
This pic is inspired by Aisha , I am such a big fan of her food shot on the table with chair in the composition. I have not done much justice, but the sheer joy of having a pic in this composition thrills me.
