This low-key Garden Oaks beer mecca hand-cuts long, serious fries to go with its tall, serious burgers. They’re not so much about crispness as an old-timey dance between soft and crusty. This location opened in March 2012; it was originally a Long John Silver's, which was built in 1987, replacing the original building on site that opened in April 1973. The restaurant was converted to an A&W combo location in the early 2000s and closed in 2011.
