I got an invite yesterday, to go on a little Sunday stroll along the banks of the River Haddeo with jumpforjoy2010, me'nthedogs and their partners... Hopefully to get some shots of those bleddy Goosanders... As luck would have it the Haddeo valley was completely devoid of life, even this baby rat had spent the night in a freezer and refused to move even when poked.

Cooks' Cottage conosciuto anche come Captain Cook's Cottage è un casolare che si trova nei Fitzroy Gardens di Melbourne. Fu costruito nel 1755 nel villaggio inglese di Great Aytoun (nella contea del North Yorkshire) dai genitori del capitano James Cook. Nel 1933 il proprietario lo vendette a condizione che rimanesse in Inghilterra, ma poi nel patto la destinazione divenne un reame del Commonwealth e quindi fu spedito e ricostruito mattone su mattone in Australia. Adesso è un'attrazione turistica.
