Took the Cook and ol'Jess back out to Westhay again today, I bumped into 'len firecrest' in the car park... By the time I caught up with cook, she'd crashed out on a bench. I do hope I'm not working her too hard. :@)

an easy recipe, although mine tasted overly spiced to me, I would cut back the cinnamon and nutmeg next time.....and I like the soft centers, I let them air dry overnight for a more traditional toasted crunch
sent some with hubby to work
the recipe made 2 loaves like the above, so you could also cut it in 1/2 for a smaller batch.....but then again they freeze well!
