Playing with the Hemesh and Convex Hull by Lee Byrons library. Starting Point is the Hemesh Voronoi example. The voronoi cells are subdivided and then slices of the vertices are sent to the convex hull algorithm.

A convex spokeshave model no 51 from the Stanley Sweetheart era. This spoekshave has been well used and features almost no japanning, but still has the original SW cutter. Some pitting on the cutter, but still in good working order.

Convex and Concave, 1955

Convex Edge, Adjustable Set screw, Similar-Offset handle, Detachable finger rest.

Material: This scissors is and can be manufactured using two different types of Stainless Steel.

1- AISI-420 Japanese Stainless Steel. Rockwell HRC 54-56.

2- AISI-440C Stainless Steel. Rockwell HRC 58-60 two piece welded blade technology.

Big hands!

Probably best viewed on black.

The original exposure was very washed out and overexposed in parts due to the dirtyness of the mirror (which was a traffic mirror), so I decided to make this my first black-and-white. There's some posterization and blotchiness too, due to the poor quality of the original, but I think it gives it a bit of noisy B+W charm (even if I do look like I have some sort of skin disease!).
