I know the horizon look a bit off kilter, but it's actually pretty true to the setting.

Taken on a recent workshop with Matt Hart in Birmingham... lots going on here as these people travel up the escalator - two conversations: the one at the top, is she saying something controversial which is making her friend uncomfortable; the second is clearly asking for a decision to be made, colour of curtains or where to eat for lunch - you decide.

A man talks with ease to someone on his mobile phone, his voice drifting between English and an African language, asking after family and their wellbeing. The warm afternoon sunlight pours in between the pillars, complementing the glow of his effusive tone.

Conversation between siblings (Thank you Elliot, couldn't find the right word !)

At the Albertina Museum in Vienna two years ago. Are they discussing Picasso's "Still life with guitar," "Mediterranean landscape," or something entirely different?

 

I have been absent but am now back online after a 10-day internet service disruption.

In this series with swans, I wanted to show and emphasize the role of light, gesture and color as a combination of a decisive moment in expressing emotions.

It seemed as if this duck couple was in deep conversation and their male companion could care less. Perhaps he was trying to hide the fact that he felt like a third wheel. (I am NOT a duck psychologist, so it's just a speculation on my part.)
