I wish you a healthy and blessed Easter, dear friends!

For us, today is Palm Sunday.

Conversations on a chilly March morning 2020.

Conversation of allusions !

DSC_6608_DxO-01

Two very different conversations going on. I was sitting at an outdoor cafe in Florence and out of the corner of my eye, a couple of nuns followed by a small group of teens came walking by on the other side of the street. The contrasts struck me first and then the totally natural feel of the moment kicked in.

With conversation temporarily suspended, a pair of old-hand train crew can't help but get drawn to the sight (and the sound) of GB Railfreight 'Shed' 66708 rumbling through the centre of Leeds station with the 9.53am Hunslet Tilcon - Arrow Quarry (6M31) discharged hoppers.

Their fascination is perhaps no surprise either - heck, after more than 50 years of watching freight trains even I still get mesmerised by this stuff!

Not a rail photography trip today but rather a social visit to meet up with an old college mate for a bite to eat. I pocketed the little Sony, just in case, and got lucky with timings as well as the gap in the cloud.

I've left the tones a little dark to retain the richness.

Chairs and Benches

This is yet another new series of photographs this time about Chairs and Benches with a few other seating items thrown in.

They can be Regal, Practical, Ultra Design items, Art Installations, used for Potty Training. They can even be vehicles of Execution. They hold immense power and none at all. From the densest populated cities, to the most remote parts of the world. Usually sturdy; reliable; honest; comfortable; often filled with people. People talking, sleeping, with their phones, eating, climbing to reach other items, feeding birds, making love and every scenario one can think of.

The imagination can run riot over the most important conversations that have taken place on them, what they could tell you if they could, what they would tell you if they wanted too. As usual I hope you enjoy what I have posted and this is the first of many……….

Caught these two house sparrows clinging on to twigs in the hedge when on the 6km Clonegal countryside walk. These birds are so tiny and they certainly congregate together in noisy chattering groups. I like their brave, feisty behaviour as shown frequently at the bird feeder.

A strange communication device at the charity shop. 😎☎

Mother, do you ever thought that Tiny has been human in her previous life?

Certainly, dear, she was a very good and kind-hearted human, that's why she deserved to be a cat now.

Just A Walk In The Park

Real love is two People that never lie to each other, it is real and true friendship, it is caring with your heart, it is knowing all the good and bad about each other and always being there together, it is a bond that can not be broken, This man and woman were here in the states on vacation form Liverpool England, they love each other so much they even dress the same. I had a long conversation with them, they were very nice People, :)

For the Crazy Tuesday group, challenge: complementary colors.

Bird on the right - "Are you listening to me? And another thing....."

Bird on the left still thinking "Someone shoot me now."
