Is this the most pointless remote control ever? Why would a radio alarm clock that sits right next to you on the bedside cabinet need a remote control? I still use it though :o)

Jeff Dunham is back in his much anticipated third live DVD, with all new material and unparalleled comedy that surpasses his record-breaking specials, Arguing with Myself, Spark of Insanity, and A Very Special Christmas Special. All the favorites are hereWalter, the grumpy retiree; furry and manic Peanut; Jos Jalapeo, the spicy pepper from south of the border; plus bumbling skeletal Achmed the Dead Terrorist.

SAC Celebrates our 60th year as a club in 2022! SAC is also a long time AMA Gold member club and the 1st recipient of the “AMA Club of the Month” award. We also maintain great relationships with Forest Preserves of Cook County and SAC is a “Model Citizen” in the community!
Suburban Aero Club of Chicago (SAC) was founded in 1962 and is one of the oldest model aircraft clubs in the nation. www.suburbanaeroclub.com/
We are an AMA Gold Leader Club, a distinction achieved by only 5% of AMA chartered clubs.
The first AMA Club of the Month August 2020!
We build and fly model aircraft of all types: member interests include airplanes, seaplanes, gliders, helicopters and drones. We have an instructional program to help new members get started in the hobby, and we run a number of events throughout the year.
Our regular flying site is at 19416 S. Cicero Avenue at the Cook County Forest Preserve model airplane field. We fly float planes at Midlothian Reservoir (167th and Cicero) in Oak Forest.

2015 Controlled Burn in High Park Toronto. Part of the management plan for the natural areas of the park is to re-create the effect of forest fires to clear the undergrowth and protect/promote the regeneration of the native species.

Has been next to my monitor at work since I got back under source control -- Checking my files in will save my ass one day. It has in the past.

At least that's what this looks like to me. Beyond the housing subdivision (whose entrance gate is at lower right) lies the Withlacoochie State Forest, where controlled burns are not unusual. This one happened to occur on a day with an otherwise crystal clear blue sky. I'd seen the plume while driving to a meeting of the free-writing group I facilitate and pulled into the nearest parking lot to photograph it. By the time of the meeting the smoke had mostly dissipated.
Accident in front of house. One car accident. The kid lost control and hit the embankment on the other side of the road and spun around. He & his buds then pushed the car to the other side of the road.
This is the control panel for the telescope and dome that must have been installed in the past 30 or 40 years. Some buttons were missing so I don't think it's operational.
