We at The Brothers Brick love predatory fish and extreme weather. So we're huge fans of SyFy's high-brow political thriller and romantic comedy Sharknado. But we also love ridiculous New York movie stereotypes, such as rude cabbies and the pointless destruction of famous landmarks. Not surprisingly then, we're positively shark-static about the new follow-up movie Sharknado 2: The Second One which airs July 30th on the SyFy channel. We'll be glued to our TV's, popcorn in one hand, bucket of chum in the other, for 2 hours of deeply thought-provoking chainsaw-tastic aquatic mayhem.
SyFy is planning Sharknado Week in celebration of its new movie. But we felt that LEGO fans deserved to be a part of that experience too. Our solution: Bricknado!

Hello,
Here is all the information requested for my entry for
the Fabulous Stationery Contest.
a: Jill Cavanaugh
b: mylescavanaugh.com
c: The name of the card that I chose is Duet. I
chose this card because I loved the softness of all
the colors together and the simplicty of the image.
It inspired me to try and create this same feeling and
look in my own living space.
d: For each of these rooms I incorporated the colors
from the card so as to keep the same palate and feel.
Thanks again for this contest - it was so much fun to
do!

COMMENT PLEASE (:
song: Schitzo
artist: Brockencyde
lyrics:
I feel my nails rip my flesh.
I feel I’ve gone insane.
I never wanted to hurt you.
But you made me this way.
So now I know I’m crazy.
I feel there’s no more pain.
These voices call out to me.
They’re screaming out my name.
- this was very interesting making. i dont own the texture, but i edited it out (: i did the cutting out & cropping of the taylor momsen video on lunapic.com.. it was harder then it looked. but i enjoyed making it. i hope i make this contest -
Side-by-side comparison of red-bellied woodpecker and red-breasted nuthatch. Both these birds are frequent backyard visitors. The red belly picks most of peanuts and stores them under shingles on my neighbor's roof.
These are the actual prizes for the "Show Us What You Got" contest. I put them together today using the instructions I made. I must say, those turned out better than I thought.
Stapleton, pimpnork, and hangar not included. Some cars not for use with some sets. Some assembly required. Remember, ask for your parents' permission before you call.
This contest is being held in the Lego Contest Network. The Trophy you see in the picture will go to the first place winner. Link: www.flickr.com/groups/legocontestnetwork/discuss/72157626...

This is my entry in the whittling contest at the Lebanon, TN Spring class. The assignment was to carve a representation of a holiday other than Christmas.
I found out about this contest about a week ago, purely by chance. Entering it was a whim at first, but then became a bit of an obsession. It's probably just as well I didn't find out about it earlier. :>)
Regardless of the outcome I'm really glad I decided to do this. Everything is about the first few steps!
My three entries can be seen near/before this image in my photostream. In the order they were taken, earliest first:
JoeWolf1 ("Reflections, ICA/Boston")
JoeWolf2 ("Snoozing Under the Lifeguard Tower, Oceanside CA")
JoeWolf3 ("Winter Sunrise Over the Oceanside Pier")
This Is the pic we decided to submit into the contest. They already have the first batchs finalists. If we make it we would make it to the Second Finalists. Same pic except for the logo. Thanks to everyone for there support and well keep you posted if we make it!!!!!!
Thanks from Rosy and I!
