Walking back home I cam across this shot, I l;oved the contented smile she has from whatever she is reading in her quiet contemplative place. The branch with the leaves gives this the framing I like with the solitary figure in the background adding that extra interest. I really like this photo.
Some contented cows outside the palace which is home to the current maharaja of Gwalior and his family.
Taken the same day, this is me I think on the way home from Southport and I'm wearing the first of many boycut wigs and, looking out of the window, I appear to be contented, hence the title.
As for the original description, I have no idea because, two years ago on 28 March, the account I had under the name of Barbara Cortina was terminated by Flickr for violating their terms and guidelines, without a word of warning. Not only did I lose nearly 2500 photos but also their descriptions, not to mention 11-12 pages of favourites and people who I followed as Barbara Cortina. It'll take ages to build up what I have left because half the photos are gone forever.
As Barbara Cortina, I'm no longer allowed to have a Flickr account, because, apparently, I violated their terms and guidelines but did they tell me HOW I'd done that? No. Many of the photos (including most of those I took while at Haven Lodge) are gone forever because I didn't think to back them up by downloading the relevant folders - it's really fucking crushing.
Right at the end of March, the same thing happened again when another account I set up (under Barbara C this time) got terminated as well...also without warning for violating their terms and guidelines (which I never did). As a result, I lost 2447 images but this time THIRTY-ONE pages of favourites. Again, it's really fucking crushing.
It was the coffee, the cigarette and the look of a comuter beaten by the system that did this picture for me.
With the Red-tailed hawk gone, the Eastern American Screech Owls have settled into the flying cage.

I fell for this lynx. He looks so content, although he is VERY cross-eyed.
