Day 2 San Sebastian - Orio
Just as I was thinking that this guy had a nice, wide-open yard, I noticed that his house was actually made of shipping containers. Too cool. I don't know if I'll follow this design for my container home, but I'm taking notes.
Officially this is the Greatest Photo I have ever taken. The lighting is just amazing.
I strapped my tripod to the bridge using using my camera bag straps and pushed the bag off over the edge of the bridge to make it pull tight against the railing. My Tripod is really old and was not tall enough to reach over the railing so I had to push the 3 legs together to make it taller. It looked like a 3 legged Monopod. I shot 7 shots and this was the last one when the Security arrived and told me that photos where strictly forbidden with out a permit. I was so worried that they where going to make me delete all the pics. I just spoke to the Guy and was all cool and said "I am so sorry I didn't know, where can i get a permit and so fourth" I finished with "Its so sad, if I could wait here until the sun came up it would be amazing, because its too dark to shoot right now." He let me go with out question or interrogation.
This is one picture has blown me away more then anything I have ever taken in my life. I think I like shooting Industrial Landscapes.

A container train heads west behind a filthy Railpool TRAXX unit, number 186 535. Railpool is a locomotive lessor, but I don't know who is actually operating the train. Based on the other container trains I saw, it may have been Metrans.
Evaluate the need of your business to have shipping containers. Of course, you need these containers if you are in a manufacturing business and selling your goods to different wholesalers, retailers and buyers. The more important thing to consider is how will these shipping containers be used? Will they serve for transport or for storage purposes?
