Netherlands, Amsterdam Noord, IJ, Eye Movie museum, Rhineship Junto (cut from B&T)
Passing the rhine-ship 'Junto' and the deconstructivist Eye Movie museum shot from a GVB ferry crossing the IJ. Junto was built in 1925 as a towed barge and converted to a self-propelled rhine-ship in 1957. The Eye Movie Museum (2012) was designed by Roman Delugan & Elke Delugan-Meissl.
Behind it is the base of the neo-modernist 'Amsterdam Lookout' (1971) tower, previously 'Toren Overhoeks' and 'Amsterdam Toren'. It was designed by Arthur Staal (1971) and redeveloped by Klaus and Caan in 2016.
This is number 135 of the Amsterdam album and 19 of Rhine ship graphisms.

A container ship passed Williamstown as the sun lit up a small area in the foreground - otherwise a very grey and dull day.
Tiny containers of hope–for my BFF in Australia and for wildlife and for all of Oz and the rest of the world. Sometimes hope seems elusive. Off to plant more trees.

Tijdens het bezoek aan horst kwamen 2 rfo vectrons in korte tijd langs met een containertrein. Als 2de kwam de 193 734 langs met een gatenkaas beladen trein. In een mooi zonnetje passeert hij de fotograaf onderweg naar de Maasvlakte.

This is almost exclusively US Quarters. They were made for a special edition of each of the 50 States. They were made in limited numbers. I'm trying to collect one from each state.
They are remarkable tiny works of art!
A few standard pennies and two nickels are in here also. The container has a separate lid that snaps on: nice feature for keeping dust out and the coins in!

Blick vom Ausleger einer Containerbrücke. Die gegenüber stehenden Containerbrücken fertigen gerade ein Containerschiff ab. Rechts das vollautamatisierte Blocklager, in dem Platz für 16.000 Container ist. Die Containerbrücke hat ein Eigengewicht von 2.000 Tonnen. der vordere Ausleger ist 62 Meter lang und kann 22 Containerreihen auf den Schiffen bedienen.

I found this tin can in an old sewing machine many years ago. I swapped the sewing utensils for nails.

I think these were oil and chemical carrying barrels. Taken at the old CN railyard in 1972. Just scanned them today and turned them into digital.
