Containers, Martinique

Almost everything you have in your home spent time at some stage in shipping container. Zeebrugge counts as one of the most important ports in Europe for containerized cargo, handling over 2.5 million TEUs (containers) in 2010.

Can’t help wondering about the effect on trade because of Brexit. Places like Zeebrugge could be hard hit. What do you think?

I don't know who painted this container, but the reason is quite clear... :)

There is one radio station in Helsinki that's a bit different than the rest of them. The main difference is that they don't have a set playlist of songs. It's name is simply Radio Helsinki. The DJ/host may actually play whatever he/she likes. There is a lot of variation in the shows and it's quite rare that any song would be played several times a day.

I really don't listen to radio much and this station is probably only reason why I think I should listen more.

Now the station is going to be shut down. It has actually created quite a bit af stir. President of our neighbour country Estonia tweeted about it.

I whish it can be saved.

I live in an apartment, so my veggies and fruits are grown in containers on the patio.

Shown here are a couple of strawberries, a tomato, and a melon.

The worm bin where my kitchen scraps go is underneath the shelf.

All of these plants are growing from a single half whiskey barrel.
