Yesterday was a great day. 10lb of dry ice, 4 photographers working around some ideas and ending up with a extremely memorable photo shoot. And at the end a little mad science work that almost cost me a hand
SOOC except for cropping and a little spot healing.
I love the clouds on this one but wasn't sure how to edit. I am open to constructive criticism on this one.
5. Be constructive
Along the way, people will tell you how things can’t be done, how things won’t work. You can come up with the most brilliant idea in the world and these people will shoot you down. They will shake their heads and say “Nah man, ain’t gona work. *Insert stupid reason based on their impractical understanding of the world here*.”
BUT here’s the thing. Instead of dismissing them, use that opportunity to strengthen your idea. If you believe in something, fight for it. The better you make your case, the better the idea will become.
I went to a construction site whilst in the Lake District taking part on an Annabel Williams Digital Photography Course - getting started with your camera. I was instructed to take images of texture via the surroundings. This image is of the contour of a JCB. The dirt and yellow paint add real character to the image.
