Preparing the site for a new condo building in central Montréal.

Project: The Cliffs - Tyger Waterfront, Cape Town

 

Description: One of the structural projects from our office in which I had some involment.

Consists of three blocks, the one on the left being a 12 Storey Luxuary Appartment block which overhangs the existing lake. The two 8 Storey blocks toward the right will be utilised for offices.

Every time we have a short break in London, I'm amazed how much construction work is continually going on apart from the Crossrail project. I wonder what the "cheesegrater" and "walkie talkie" buildings will think of their new neighbours....

aren't we always under construction? Maybe we should aim for a definite style?

 

[I was, I think, feeling sorry for myself this afternoon... anyway, I felt blue about coping with more pain. Then Doug and I went for a wee walk - and I learned so much about myself and others!]
