Constance Spry (1886–1960) was a pioneer in flower arrangement and one of the first collectors of Old Roses in the early part of the 20th century. She was responsible for the flowers at Queen Elizabeth's coronation! This rose was named for her - it's only downside is that it only flowers once each year!

This beautiful sunset at the Lake Constance completely took us by surprise. Sahara desert dust turned the sky into vibrant orange colours. A very special atmosphere which we experienced at that evening. Have a happy weekend!

The exuberant, powder-pink Birnau pilgrimage church is one of Lake Constance's architectural highlights. It was built by the rococo master Peter Thumb of Vorarlberg in 1746. When you walk in, the decor is so intricate and profuse you don't know where to look first. At some point your gaze will be drawn to the ceiling, where Gottfried Bernhard Göz worked his usual fresco magic.
A lake on the Rhine at the northern foot of the Alps, and consists of three bodies of water: the Obersee or Upper Lake Constance, the Untersee or Lower Lake Constance, and a connecting stretch of the Rhine, called the Seerhein. These waterbodies lie within the Lake Constance Basin (Bodenseebecken), which is part of the Alpine Foreland and through which the Rhine flows. In the background right Meersburg.
