This is a shot of the Amek 9098 console that we use at Studio 12, CBC Montréal. It's a really great analog board but because of rising maintenance costs, we will have to switch it in the next few months for a digital SSL C200 which hopefully should sound as good.

Work has started on building the centre console. I originally wanted to integrate this directly with the chassis so that the carpet would cover it with no seams but I think being able to remove it to get at bolts and wiring will be a good thing.
I was planning on re-using the handbrake gaiter from the donor car but it seems to have a strange kink in the stiffener piece that goes round the bottom so won't sit flat against a surface. I don't have the gear stick gaiter (mine was an auto) so I think I'll just buy a new matching set that can be made to fit better
