I loved the look of this, but now that I've seen the photo in detail I find it rather sad that in the time it has taken to become this rusty it's only acquired 37.7 miles on the odometer.

The console trial assembly after refinishing. This is the back side. Unfortunately, I took no pictures before the refinishing. Leaning against the wall on the right are the sections of the sound cabinet that originally contained two 18" speakers and a power amplifier. Long gone, I'll be using my surround sound system augmented with a special subwoofer, instead.

Looks pretty smart in the car but that plastic handbrake lever is letting it down. It's IVA safe though so will stay for the moment

The organ is split between north and south sides of the choir, this is the north side.
This Hill Organ dates from 1909, and a major rebuild was done in 2016 by Principal Pipe Organs. It was previously rebuilt in 1950.
A second console from Manchester Cathedral was acquired in the 2016 rebuild. Both consoles date from 1950.
It is a 4 manual with 67 stops.
Norbert Roth Engineer, Ray Irving Producer. Around 1983. A one second exposure with a Rolleiflex 2.8F. A Studer mixing console.
