Connections 2020 brought together 900+ parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to celebrate Lab's strengths and the power of philanthropy. The event raised over $1.6M for financial aid and professional development.

The weather was gorgeous today but sadly I didn't take advantage of it. Had a bit of work to get done for the week ahead.
In my rummaging through a still unpacked box, I found this. I told my twin Emily about the Missed Connections feature on Craigslist and so over the summer she (sneakily) posted this on there. It outlines my best qualities, particularly how I like to shop at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Rainbow -- I mean, if they don't have what you need, no one will. Anyway, after a moment of shock, I couldn't stop laughing because I loved it so much. Now it's hanging in my room for those times when I'll need a laugh.
The 2024 Connections Leadership Conference was held 15-16 November at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City, MI. This was the first time since 2019 the event was hosted away from the Central Michigan University Campus.
The 11th annual Sophomore Career Connections: Linking the Liberal Arts to the World of Work, hosted collaboratively by the Center for Career Education and the Office of Advancement. This Delta Connection ERJ screwed up somehow & was stopped in the by the thrust vectorer (I forgot what they're called).To emphasize on the fact that it couldn't fly, they put a few cones in front of it.Built in 2006.

This event provided an opportunity for local growers and exporters, importers, retailers and business solution providers to network and learn ways to improve and grow their businesses. Programming include how to improve productivity through technology and innovation, with a focus on addressing issues like increased labor costs and labor shortages.
