With the immpresive Orwell Hotel in the background Ipswich Reds Alexander Dennis Enviro 300 SN13 CKC stands in front of Felixstowe Railway Station on the express service from Ipswich . After catching the Ipswich buses 92 from Stutton at 1044 and a smart connection at Bourne bridge I am at Great Eastern square at 1135. Who said we do not have an intergrated transport system!

It used to be called Cola Connection because it (randomly) sells a lot of Coca Cola themed goods too.

A Canadian National transfer job traverses the twists and turns of the Matteson Connection, swinging from the Illinois Central main to the EJ&E main. Constructed after CN purchased the J, the double-track connection is the key to fluid operations in Chicago. An elevated platform gives railfans the feeling that they are sitting in a tree fort as they watch the endless parade of CN trains.
A great 'village connection' is seen here in Tregony where Travel Cornwall route 51 (St. Austell - Tregony - Veryan) and Go Cornwall Bus route 50 (Truro - Tregony - St. Mawes) meet and in 2021 I made this connection. Travel Cornwall has since become part of Go Cornwall Bus.

Shelbie and Oscar visited LA last fall, and that visit, after being acquainted with her excellent photos for quite awhile, was enough to add two more names to my Friends roster.
So when I drove up north for my project, stopping to visit them was a must. Planned the SF-area trip around it.
And am damned glad I did. Getting to see this face, getting to see them doing well, enjoying their lives, soaking up new experiences. Seeing a lady becoming accustomed to city living, excited about photography and the future...
Photography is my thing, man. Love it to death. A big part of that is the way it allows me to connect with people, to engage and get involved with others. Damn fine, life is.

The artist states: "This mural is part of a personal project that I have been developing since the beginning of the year together with the artist-in-residence program of @the_nature_of_cities and @beyondtreesnetwork . I am finally executing it now starting in the city of Miami, simultaneously in Santo Domingo and later in other locations. "Connection" is about how all human beings are connected through nature, in this case migratory birds and specifically the Cape May Warbler (a bird that migrates from Canada, through the United States to the Dominican Republic). Also how to contribute to the conservation of these species in their migratory journey and how they interact with populations from different cities (Hot Spots) thus achieving a beautiful channel that unites people from different places."

This is a small connecting passageway from a car park to a small shopping centre. I liked the texture of the block paving and brick walls and how they reflected light.
