So I made these cupcakes just for you ( I baked them yesterday 😉) with blue cream and blue lit candles, each one for every million views, in your favourite colour! And I tried to find a card that says 'Congratulations' in English, but I couldn't so I got you the next best I could find 😉

HORACIO PATRONE : No podia dejar de tener esta hermosa toma en mi muro....asi nos recibio LA LAGUNA SAN MIGUEL DEL MONTE el dia que fuimos a fotear LOS MACAS PLATEADOS...todos exclamamos desde el auto mira que amanecer tiene la laguna.!!!!! pero....todos teniamos la mochila cerrada y sin gran angular en mano...pero el amigo y gran fotografo LUCAS DE CIRIA fue el mas astuto e inteligente ,en segundos saco su celular motorola y capto esta fantastica toma...EL UNICO QUE LOGRO QUE RECORDARAMOS ESTE MOMENTO.! felicitaciones al MASTER LUCAS...creiamos que el cielo despejaria pero.....fueron los unicos segundos de sol....el dia se mantendria nublado y encapotado .la condición luminica no era favorable,pero a los MACAS PLATEADOS asi y todo pudimos encontrarlos y fotearlos...Mas Felices Imposible !!!
HORACIO PATRONE: I couldn't stop having this beautiful shot on my wall ... that's how LAGOON SAN MIGUEL DEL MONTE received us the day we went to photograph THE SILVER MACAS ... we all exclaimed from the car, look at the sunrise at the lagoon . !!!!! but .... we all had the backpack closed and without a wide angle in hand ... but the friend and great photographer LUCAS DE CIRIA was the most cunning and intelligent, in seconds he took out his Motorola cell phone and captured this fantastic shot ... THE ONLY ONE THAT MADE WE REMEMBER THIS MOMENT.! congratulations to MASTER LUCAS ... we believed that the sky would clear but ..... it was the only seconds of sun .... the day would remain cloudy and overcast. the lighting condition was not favorable, but to the SILVER MACAS as well and We could all find them and photograph them ... More Happy Impossible !!!

If you like Mute Swans get yourself to Abbotsbury they have rather a lot
Abbotsbury Swannery is the only managed colony of nesting mute swans in the world. It is situated near the village of Abbotsbury in Dorset, England, around the Fleet Lagoon. The Fleet, besides which the swannery sits, is the largest lagoon in Europe, and runs for about 8 miles along the Dorset coast. It is brackish and tidal, but sheltered by Chesil Beach, and is a RAMSAR site of international importance and a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and has been a nature reserve since as early as 1393. The swannery is at its westerly extremity.
The colony can number over 600 swans with around 150 pairs. Written records of the swannery's existence go back to 1393 but it probably existed well before that, and is believed to have been set up by Benedictine monks in the eleventh century.
Today, there are around 600 swans. They are free-flying birds and could choose to nest anywhere, but are obviously attracted by the Fleet Lagoon. Visitors can wander on small paths among the various nests, sometimes experiencing the birds' territorial displays. The swannery is open to the public between March and the end of October,

William (our youngest son) was just as surprised as we were last night and came home with a very large (19") trophy from the St. John Ambulance Brigade Division 59C/D. The George B. Lamont Award for Most Outstanding Regular Member.
He really is dedicated and most deserving.

My Niece Danielle gave birth to a healthy baby boy last week, nice to have some good news to spread on flickr.

I was unable to go to the celebration but assisted it on Zoom and took these photos for great memories. Family needs to support, encourage and celebrate together always.

Backstory: Drone Haven stands as a somber monument to humanity’s fleeting reign, a forsaken city overtaken by the relentless march of nature. Towering, rusted skyscrapers—once symbols of progress—now crumble into the earth, their skeletal frames bound in a suffocating embrace of vines and moss. Faded posters and the echoes of forgotten graffiti serve as grim premonitions: “The End is Near!” On the fringes, a last-ditch survivalist camp briefly defied extinction. Dreamers, with fragile hope, planted gardens and built shelters in a futile act of defiance. But disease, depletion, and discord swiftly snatched away their fleeting defiance, leaving only silence and creeping green. At the city's heart, the butcher shop—a relic of human industry—stands decayed and broken. Its walls, softened by moss and pierced by vines, speak of a once-vibrant world now swallowed by time. The eerie message lingers: “The End is Near!” A grim echo of human ambition, now lost in nature’s quiet dominion. Among the ruins, drones—mechanical phantoms—still wander, remnants of their creators' ambition. They dutifully plant life during the Echocycle, maintaining the city as both a testament to human legacy and nature's quiet triumph. But even these tireless machines, bound by the limits of their energy, will one day cease. The paradox is clear: humanity’s imprint, though indelible, is as ephemeral as the machines it birthed. Drone Haven whispers a haunting truth: humankind, for all its perceived significance, is but a fleeting echo against the eternal backdrop of nature’s vast, unyielding cycles. In the city’s rust and bloom, it mourns the inevitable collapse, the fragility of life, and the inescapable reality that all things—natural or artificial—are bound to fade into silence.
