An unseaonably warm fall confused some of the plants in the yard. This is Moss Phlox (Phlox subulata) blooming in my front lawn.

He doesn't understand why the basement is being invaded by water. The way it is right now, he has to walk across water to reach his cat pan. There's an extra pan down there. I'll set that one up in a dry spot at the foot of the steps. I'll do that when I go down again to do some more mopping.

We saw a couple sets of these purple flowers blooming in the Nisky Hill Cemetery. It has only snowed twice this winter (since October, 2019). Neither of them were heavy snows. Much of the flora and fauna are currently confused. I'm confused. It's a bit scary. Frankly, I just want snow.
Here we are at the East Quarry, which was worked from around 1933 to 1940. Look how the strata near me on the right is horizontal, and further to the left is completely vertical. I can't imagine that the vertical strata are natural; they must be from the blasting.
Confusing. Ampitheatre falls are on the Toorongo river, Toorongo falls are on the Little Toorongo river!
The pressure of controlling an a/c has got to this new sim pilot, While franticly trying to figure out which 'road' he is on, he must have put the gear down at 15000ft, At the same time, ATC is calling and the a/c is over-speeding making loud frightening warning noises BUT a friend comes to his rescue.

Seen in the company of Summer Tanager and Western Tanagers (small group 3-4 birds came to the yard and exchanged places at the birdbath, chasing in large pine nearby).
WINGSPAN: 1.5-2 in.
HOST PLANTS: Specific host plants are unknown, though some lepidopterists believe that bush clover and Florida hoarypea are important hosts.
FUN FACT: The “confused” in this cloudywing’s name stems from the difficulty in identifying it, rather than its mental state.
