Trying to Confuse the focal point in a single capture

Vancouver Island, BC 2017

I know you real car folks will be quick to point out the cheating lead wire, but sometimes you got to what ya got to do. Have fun out there ✌😎

...between clouds and the river...

The trees are budding and it's only November. I'm not sure what this bush is, but it gets pink flowers, normally in the spring. And the magnolia trees are also getting buds. Does that mean we will have blossoms in December? Crazy!

I took this in a neighbour's yard, walking up and down my street yesterday to capture the buds and new life that seems to be very confused about what time of year it is. The bokeh is a house at the end that is under construction - there is a big red bin and a blue truck in the driveway.

This young House sparrow female landed at the place where I feed the doves and was surprised by the size of the grain. She soon went to the place where I feed the sparrows.

During the summer, I feed birds less, except during the period when they are feeding their young. This summer was too hot, so they asked for much more water to drink and to get wet in order to cool down.

Even though it's been gray and rainy here, the temps have been in the mid 50's.... our koi were out of their tunnels and on the top of the pond where we could see them... very strange... and now tonight they are saying it's going down into the 20's!!!

The string across the top is to keep egrets or heron from having a free meal...

I was sitting in a park and saw this duck suddenly fell from the sky while it was flying in a flock in a very windy afternoon. It seemed quite confused and sat there for few minutes. I took the opportunity to capture the moment.

Right now, I'm stuck somewhere between what if, what might, what could have, and what never will and all I want to know is what actually is.

Looking at it from one perspective you think it's a wall you need to climb up, or is it a path to walk upon? I really liked the leading lines on the side of this building, from a recent walkabout. The weather was quite dull and so the lighting gave for a more natural dimming, which I feel kind of helped offer a sort of dystopia atmosphere.

How is everyone this Happy Hump Day? All al is well, and so as ways, thank you! :)

HWM!

This oak tree at The Vyne NT House in Hampshire had leaves on it on the side nearest the house when I took this shot 15th January 2016! The other side was bare as expected. Whether it was old or new growth I could not establish. It was surprisingly warm in the sun definitely Spring-like! The colours were bright and the geese on the lake were sunning themselves.

This guy seems to have his seasons mixed up. Instead of just now shedding his antlers, he should be starting new growth like the buck in the comment section below. Cades Cove, Smoky Mountain NP.

As the smoke from the West Coast fires wafts its way across our country and invades Minnesota's sunrises and sunsets, a couple of cows deliberate whether they should get up for the day or lay down for the night.
