PSE's Renewable Energy Center at the Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility officially opened April 1, 2008. Weather permitting, the REC is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. seven days a week from April through November.
The center sits at 3,500 foot elevation on a ridge above the Kittitas Valley and Columbia Basin. From this vantage point the entire Wild Horse Wind and Solar Facility, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, and the Columbia River Basin looking toward Moses Lake can be viewed.
