Salt, pepper, olive oil, a loaf of bread... and maybe a dead fish - luncheon nirvana! I promise, after this, no more pictures of edible marine life. For now, tuck in your bibs and enjoy. Happy Bokeh Wednesday!

Just a small post I made to showcase a new custom Minifigure, (The lighting is exactly fantastic but hopefully I'll take a better photo somewhere down the line)
The Condiment King is one of my all time top 10 favorite DC villains and I've never been able to do a custom of him justice yet, but I think I either nailed it or got pretty close with this one.
I heavily based the design off of his rebirth outfit and added my own details, like mismatched red and yellow arms and yellow boots, (from the CMF 21 dolphin trainer)
The backpack is heavily inspired by the one from the Lego Batman movie, with a few extra details, such as swapped around whip pieces to make the tubing look more messy
Maybe he'll be a member of my custom Lego suicide squad at some point but for now I can't be 100% sure,
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I certainly don't remember seeing quite this big a selection of food products at the original Southaven Tuesday Morning location!

Yet another rained off evening for getting out with my camera, so I thought I would have a go at some more indoor photography projects to learn more about using a speedlight. This low-key lighting photo was taken using my LUMIX S1R with the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN standard zoom. Photographed with the speedlight (with softbox) illuminating the right side of the scene. With the speedlight at 1/2 power, the camera set to an aperture of f/16.0 and sensitivity of ISO100, a shutter speed of 1/60s gave a reasonable exposure. I used a sheet of white card to reflect light form the softbox back onto the left side of the salt and pepper pots to even up the exposure. Developed in DxO PhotoLab 3 and edited using Affinity Photo (to get rid of a few distracting dust spots on the black Perspex). One thing I am learning about this type of photo is that, however much you dusted your staging area…. it will not have been enough 😊

I love pictures of condiments on a table. I have no idea why. It might have started with one of William Eggleston's pictures.
i went for breakfast with my sister when i stayed with in bristol. she said she did not know where there any greasy spoon s, it took me and my trusty nose 3 min to sniff one out!

For Macro Mondays -condiments theme
Skin colour and pupils - Marmite
Beard - Mint Sauce
Hair - Mustard
Eyes- flaked almonds
mouth- chillie pepper
nose- pickled caper
HMM (a possibility)- the theme for today 4/16 is condiment and i have *4* possibilities and one in in process that actually shows the condiment, as per the request. this one is probably not a contender since the kitty is 3 and 1/2 inches tall (the parameters on MM is 3"by3", including negative space. yes, i kept circling back to the two spellings of the condiment: ketchup and cats-up
