ConDense - Martijn van der Nat
I just love what mist does. How the car lights suddenly look warm and inviting and how the background subtle fades into blur. It adds a nice mysterious atmosphere to this otherwise completely normal scene

With the condensing water vapour going straight up out of the Power station cooling towers(quite a rare occurrence) I couldn't resist a little trip to Sawley to capture an image or two, I turned to mono in preference to the less than desirable orange/brown colour balance that is the norm when taking images in this direction at night.
Trying out some cyanotype prints in the summer sunshine today. Really need to improve my paper coating technique as is evident on this print. Also the exposure time was a little too short so I lost some colour in the wash.
Typically at the end of a hot day, now with relatively warmer water temperature, river mist rises and condenses to form low clouds in the atmosphere.

NEX-6 + Meyer Trioplan 1:3.5 F = 2,5cm (1933; Minifex)
The Trioplan 25/3.5 was used on the subminiature Minifex, a camera made in the 1930s by Fotofex Kameras in Berlin. The camera took 36 13x18mm photos on special 16mm film. Surprisingly, the lens has no problem with the APS-C sensor.

The size of these condensing pipes amazes me. This mine really produced a lot of mercury if it used these seven, two story condensing pipes. I just imagine the flow of liquid metal at the bottom of the pipes. And I wonder why the top on one on the left is angled instead of round. So much human ingenuity to produce a poison that helped trigger weapons.
Condensation on the inside of my water bottle. Explored! Thanks.

This was the surprise of the series. I had made my panorama (previous in the photostream) my desktop wallpaper. The sofware compressed the pano into a typical 3 by 4 ratio shot. What resulted was an increase in information in the "squished" space. Squished is a technical term, by the way. =^) Try it large, there are some interesting rain forms at the bottoms of the clouds.
No, it didn't actually LOOK like this: 1st, it's compressed horizontally. 2nd, I modified the levels (especially light and dark areas) to bring out the color. If you look at the more ORANGE sunset, that's more like it really looked. Even then, I had my camera on the CHROMA setting, which gives a more saturated tone to the photo.
Shaved ice with red beans. I was looking forward to this as soon as I ordered it and it didn't disappoint.
