"Un dimanche entre deux eaux, le brouillard ne s’est pas complètement dissipé sur ce village des Ardennes. La porte de la salle «Saint-Hadelin» grince. Un clic sur le poussoir en formica enclenche le scintillement froid des néons. La Marthe s’affaire déjà derrière le comptoir et du samovar percole l’odeur d’un café âcre comme on l’aime par ici. Les chaises quittent leur statut «renversé sur les tables» et les lots sont disposés sur la scène. Des voitures affluent sur la place. Désiré entre avec le panneau où il a soigneusement tiré les lignes qui délimiteront les différents tours à jouer. Paul dépose sur la table des inscriptions les 50 jeux de cartes tout neufs offerts par la brasserie. Une file se forme et les retrouvailles se font chaleureuses. Bientôt le premier tour va débuter..."

8 feet high, 8 feet wide, and 22 feet long. Weighs between 3000 and 5000 pounds when loaded, and uses a 110 HP Corvair engine. I imagine the 0-60 times are measured in minutes.

This weekend, patrons had a fantastic time at the prestigious Amelia Concours d’Elegance, which featured memorable vehicle displays, fine dining, potent driving experiences, live auctions, and more.
Highlighted by 50 years of the BMW 3 Series, Automotive Rhythms specifically was able to test drive a few Rolls-Royce Series IIs, connect with the McLaren family of supercars, admire the array of American, British, Italian, and German classics donning the field, study Maserati’s impressive lineup including the MC20 Cielo, and witness the TWR Supercat, the remodeled Jaguar XJS by experienced techs at Tom Walkinshaw Racing.
Hosted at the esteemed Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, the 30th annual celebration was highlighted by:
•17,000 weekend attendees, including thousands of young enthusiasts
•200 vehicles on display as part of RADwood
•240 cars at The Amelia Concours d’Elegance
•225 Mobil 1 Ride and Drive experiences
•89 event partners and more than 20 events on Amelia Island
The remarkable display of collector cars, luxury autos, and race cars featured names such as the 1968 Mustang GT 2+2 Cobra Jet Fastback, E46 3 Series, Maserati MC20 Cielo, 2026 BMW iX, and the Best in Show 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C2900 and 1967 Lotus 49.
