Je suis contente d'avoir gagnée le concours de P-E sur le thème "QUAND LA MUSIQUE EST BONNE ! : Le principe est le suivant. Chaque participant choisit un morceau de musique qu'il affectionne, de n'importe quel genre (K-pop, Classique, métal ...). A partir de cette musique, il doit faire une photo collant à l'ambiance de la musique, vous pouvez vous inspirez du clip vidéo de celui-ci."

The driver and possibly owner of one of the winning Bugatti's doing a circuit of the water fountain lake, lots of cameras pointing and photographs being taken as the two ladies did a drive round. Beautifully turned out Blue Bugatti with German number plates.
Image taken with Nikon Z9 and Nikon Z 100-400mm VR S @ f/5.0, ISO 1400, shutter 1/800th, focal length 240mm. Processed in Lightroom Classic.

Quand j'ai pris cette photo il pleuvait dehors, c'était assez chaud de faire un truc a qualité/lumière potable haha. Le fond à été jugé trop froid, moi qui voulais faire une impression papier cadeaux/nappe de fête c'est loupé !
Une super photo [donc pas mienne] avec tout pleins de jolis détails l'a remporté ^_^ !

Here was my participation in the contest banner for forum at Strawberry Sugar!
When I took this photo it was raining outside, it was warm enough to do something a quality / light drinking haha. The background was considered too cold, I wanted to make an impression paper gift / festive tablecloth is missed!

This is a simple blending of two photos. The texture comes from a pic of a very old stone and brick wall that has been patched many times. Both shots were taken last August in Geneva, Illinois at the Concours de'Elegance car show.
The August 11, 2018 Copshaholm Concours at the Copshaholm Estate in South Bend, Indiana. This was the first year for the event and a superb selection of cars was on display.

Seul en Hiver ? (Par Gabriel LEBOFF)
Nous atteignons le quart de siècle … Il y a toujours quatre saisons … moins marquées et les batailles de boules de neige commencent à être du domaine du souvenir !
Comment nous, photographes pouvons nous marquer cet hiver ?
Quel sentiment peut-on exprimer ? Après bien des saisons d’observation, une sensation presque unique peut nous envahir : frais, froid, humide … ou bien cette image de l’arbre dépouillé de ses feuilles et sur une branche une Mésange au repos qui économises ses calories.
Si notre passion nous conduit à prendre les oiseaux dans toutes les positions, voire même à leur compter les plumes ou capter une attitude originale, existe-t-il une ou plutôt des situations qui nous feront frissonner comme un matin d’hiver ?
Rédiger ce concours hivernal me fait penser à cette photo … rêvée : un oiseau, seul près de l’étang, presque une silhouette qui se détache dans un coin de l’image ou cette boule de plumes qui arrondit son profil pour mieux résister au froid.
Nous avons toutes et tous les photos piquées de nos amis ailés, les gros plans incroyables que la technologie nous permet : capteurs, intelligence artificielle, objectifs lumineux et tant de perfectionnements qui se dévoilent à vitesse exponentielle.
Alors nous vous proposons de simplement traduire une sensation frissonnante : un oiseau en hiver, sera-t-elle fruit de vos mémoires numériques ou création de cet hiver ? Qui saura capturer l’instant magique du Héron au bord de l’étang brumeux, d’une troupe d’Oies cendrées comme une flèche sur fond pyrénéen ou de ce passereau tout rond sur une branche humide ou givrée ?
Un oiseau et l’hiver, rêvons une minute, un week-end enneigé et des dizaines de photographes de l’association qui se retrouvent au DDO pour fêter une communion photographique hivernale !
A chaque fois le spectateur a ressenti ce discret sentiment de fraîcheur et de simplicité : un oiseau seul en hiver dans l’aire libre du Domaine des Oiseaux.

The July 13, 2019 Copshaholm Concours at the Copshaholm Estate in South Bend, Indiana. This was the second year for the event and a superb selection of cars was on display.
This 1931 Ford Model A truck was bought and restored to replicate the truck that the owner's father started his fuel oil business with in 1932. George, the owner, was my brother's high school classmate (class of '57)! His father delivered fuel oil to our farm when I was just a youngster. The business is now owned and operated by the 4th generation of the family in my hometown of Manchester, Michigan. Restoration was done by R & A Engineering near Manchester and was completed in time for the 75th anniversary celebration of the family business.
Finding all the pieces to replicate the original truck was quite a task. Two Model A trucks were bought, the first in 1978 for its long wheelbase frame and the other in 1998 for other parts. The petroleum tank was finally located in Minnesota in 2005 after a thirty year search.

Chrysler made only 100 of the CG Imperial Roadsters in 1931 which were open cars with zip-in side curtains. This one is body no. 99 of the 100 built and was originally purchased by a featherweight prizefighter from Hartford, Connecticut named 'Bat Battalino'.

A 1937 Bugatti 57SC Atalante Coupe won the European car Best in Show award and a 1929 Duesenberg J Dual Cowl Phaeton by Murphy won the American car Best in Show award. Official photographs of the Best in Show winners are taken in a scenic setting after the show and I make sure to be there for my own (unofficial) photos.
