Seagulls embody the boundless spirit of adventure and exploration. Closely associated with the sea and the vast skies, they have a deep connection to the natural world and the mysteries of the ocean.
Bridging the gap between ocean and land, they combine the elements as a sign of exploration. The energy of the sea, which is viewed as a symbol of change, transformation, and the flow of chi.

Originally derived from the Old French word 'boue' meaning 'mud' or 'slime'. Buoys were originally made of mud or clay and were used as markers in water.
A buoy is seen because its always right at the surface, just floating around. It doesn't float away because it's being grounded by an anchor.
This crucial flotation device used for water rescue mark out swimming areas or indicate channels deep enough for large boats to safely maneuver. Some have lights to guide watercraft and bells to warn of reefs or other hazards. Buoys keep things afloat or prevent them from drifting.
The lifebuoy sign is a universal symbol of water rescue and emergency preparedness.
In literature, buoys have been used as symbols of hope and guidance.

This Series is an older one I posted awhile back and I unfortunately managed to delete it from flickr by accident some how so I am reposting it now.
A striking low-angle shot, emphasizing the height and grandeur of the ancient structures against the vast blue sky.
The towering obelisk on the right and the colossal statue fragment on the left create a strong diagonal line, drawing the eye upwards and adding depth to the scene. The framing by the surrounding stone structures further enhances the sense of scale and enclosure. The large weathered stone structures on the left, possibly parts of colossal statues or temple pylons, frame the scene. These ruins hint at the grand scale of the ancient temple complex and the artistry of the period.
The bright overhead sunlight rays create harsh shadows and highlights, visibly flaring from the top center, indicating a direct light source and adding a dramatic effect to the sky. This strong contrast accentuates the textures of the ancient stone.
The obelisk symbolized a connection between the earthly and divine realms.
The composition highlights the monumental scale and enduring presence of these ancient artifacts.
Aesthetic framing of fallen leaves on the ground of a sandy beach surrounded by stones, pebbles and seashells.
From a mere documentation of reality to a form of artistic expression, falling of a leaf can be an insignificant event when considered in the backdrop of huge changes taking place.. from the colossal explosion and merger of the heavenly objects in the skies to gigantic move of the tectonic plates beneath the earth. There are many more events above and beneath our Earth and the event of a leaf-fall for sure is minuscule. Dropping of a small or big leaf most of the time goes unnoticed.
Even towards those areas that are considered negligible, as is the case here.. Photography takes our consciousness from an inconsiderate situation to make it sensible. It echoes a deeper, more profound narrative.. these leaves whisper tales of transformation, impermanence, and the beauty of embracing change.
If anyone out there recalls this picture. . .well I am humbled.
