This is the feral kitty that keeps coming and hanging out in front of my office door. I'ts probably because we leave food out for her but I like to think it's because she likes me. After she eats all the vittles, she sits at my door for hours staring at me.

These guys came Second in the Competiton. Very consistent shots.

I tried to tease him by imitating his expression and watching back, and felt dizzy very soon..."You win, big eyes~~"

Match ploughing at the Fairford, Faringdon, Filkins & Burford Ploughing Society's annual ploughing match held this year at Black Bourton, Oxfordshire.

This concentration is about the coronavirus pandemic. This photo represents all high school seniors graduating in 2020 who have lost the rest of their school year due to this pandemic. To portray this I had my model wear a mask and a graduation cap looking down showing sadness. This image shows the cause and negative effects of people who refuse to stay inside during quarantine and how it affects others. I edited this to have a dark background so that the mask and cap pop out. I chose a black background to have a sad and serious tone.

專注(concentration)

哥哥只有玩電動和看電視時,才有這種專注的神情~(寫功課的時候為什麼就一副想睡覺的樣子呢?。。。= =") Only at this moment,Anson will get concentrate....but feel like to sleep when doing his schoolwork....why???

I have really loved to take band photos during the halftime show this year. I love the concentration on their faces as they all pull together for the show. They seem to get better every year, great bunch of students!

You can see the concentration in this little guys eyes as he waits for the lights to drop at the Drag Strip. His dad modified his power wheels to be faster and this was his first time going down a real track. I took this photo at the annual track rental that a group of us racers has each year.

"Birkenau was the largest of the more than 40 camps and sub-camps that made up the Auschwitz complex. During its three years of operation, it had a range of functions. When construction began on October 1941, it was supposed to be a camp for 125 thousand prisoners of war. It opened as a branch of Auschwitz in March 1942, and served at the same time as a center for the extermination of the Jews. In its final phase, from 1944, it also became a place where prisoners were concentrated before being transferred to labor in German industry in the depths of the Third Reich.

The majority—probably about 90%—of the victims of Auschwitz Concentration Camp died in Birkenau. This means approximately a million people. The majority, more than nine out of every ten, were Jews. A large proportion of the more than 70 thousand Poles who died or were killed in the Auschwitz complex perished in Birkenau. So did approximately 20 thousand Gypsies, in addition to Soviet POWs and prisoners of other nationalities."

Sachsenhausen, or Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg was a Nazi concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany, used primarily for political prisoners from 1936 to the end of the Third Reich in May 1945. After World War II, when Oranienburg was in the Soviet Occupation Zone, the structure was used as an NKVD special camp until 1950. The remaining buildings and grounds are now open to the public as a museum.

Max was building something. This is his "concentration face".

For this image I knew I wanted the blueprint buildings to be replacing the trees to showcase deforestation. In the back I wanted to have the mountain fading in the back to show the effects big businesses are having on the environment as they fade away. I distorted the mountains in Photoshop and then masked the layer and drew on bits and pieces of it to get the fading/diminishing effect. I also drew on all three of the blueprint building and made sure to choose a blue that would stick out against the tones of the environment to make it look artificial and have a distinctive contrast against the trees.

I succumbed this summer and got the boys a gameboy advance each in a sale. Love the look of concentration on my eldest's face as he plays (Lego Racers 2) and his sheer delight when he "wins".

Youngest struggles a little tbh (he has a Dora Explorer game) but it was that or he would bother his brother continually for a go. He tends to get distracted by the telly.

I've also discovered that it's a really good way of getting downstairs tidy before dinner - dangle the carrot of gameboy time if they clear up the living room first...

(photo taken on my new camera phone - a Nokia N73 3.2MP Carl Zeiss lens - not bad, huh?)

........while gathering energy......

It takes concentration to play games on Grammy's iPad. We are a highly wired household, with several (old) computers now set up for the boys, but the iPad is most interesting. Liam (3 Y) is an expert on browsing the net and finding games to play, whether on computers or on the iPad. No more Dr. Seuss games for him.

I asked Dan if he would mind me uploading this.

His answer: "Of course not it will only serve to show younger shooters what it really takes to succeed... TONGUE"

Ah, to be young and witty again....
