Ian Livingstone CBE (born December 1949 in Prestbury, Cheshire, England) is an English fantasy author and entrepreneur. Along with Steve Jackson he is the co-founder of the popular and influential series of Fighting Fantasy roleplaying gamebook series and author of many books within that series. He is also one of the co-founders of prominent games company Games Workshop.In the mid 1980s Livingstone did some design work for video game publisher Domark, and in 1993 he returned to the company, this time as a major investor and board member. In 1995 Domark was acquired by the video technology company Eidos plc, which had floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1990, and formed the major part of the newly created Eidos Interactive. In 2005 Eidos was taken over by SCi and Livingstone was then the only former board member to be retained, taking on the role of product acquisition director. He contributed to the Tomb Raider project entitled Tomb Raider: Anniversary (an enhanced version of the original Tomb Raider game), which was released in 2007. In 2009, Japanese video-game company Square Enix completed a buyout of Eidos Interactive and Ian was promoted to Life President of Eidos.
The event series GameStage@AEC is concerned with the variety of the medium computer game. In addition to short presentations by representatives of the gaming industry and the art scene, many local developments are also available to try out.

Anyway - this is a terrific fly - it carries 4 torpedoes - but isn't quite as agile as the smaller torpedo bombers so pick your targets carefully!
As with all the aircraft available to you in Battlestaions Pacific you have a range of views, from a console-like 3rd person view to the classic first person cockpit view.

This is about as good as it gets for me I'm afraid - the majority of my scores are just holding even (with the occasional howler).
The one thing I knotice about a long session of CoD4 is that after a while I found myself daydreaming *while* playing! (Something that never happened with BF2). Some of the CoD4 games can be so repetitive that you find yourself inadvertently 'going through the motions'.
The lack of any real teamwork, plus the near absence of tactics and the horrendous random death from above means you can fall into the 'run and gun' rut.
Not that CoD4 cannot be a lot of fun - but so far I have found that there's a fun game only once in every three or four...
I can't help thinking that a 'no airpower' mod would do this game a whole lot of good!

It wouldn't be CONvergence (or any con) without a few technical difficulties. In today's case, the air conditioning and air circulation broke down in 2205 ... the Computer/LAN Gaming Suite. The hotel, however, made good on the issue by offering us a room that wasn't part of our original slate of rooms. We were able to, with the help of the Volunteers Department and the Nerf Herders (as well as a few other folk we gathered up along the way) to migrate all our computers, our entire network, down the hall to the new room and have everything up and running within an hour.
That's geek problem-solving!
In addition, we got to keep using the overly-hot room for non-computer stuff at no extra charge. How's that for excellent customer service?
