This corner used to hold my computer, speakers and a tangle of cords. It's a wonderful thing to make a hole in the desk so that I can run all the wires down below, making my desk much more manageable and fun.

'System-X' seemed to meet it's ultimate demise over the weekend. Recently when Marc comes over, we've gotten into the habit of doing a little "retro-computing" by hooking up old computers to the TV to see if they'll boot. We tried 'System-X' this weekend, but it... didn't go well. After plugging her in and powering her on, I heard a few quick zaps and then the smell of burning electronics filled the room.
Naturally we needed to perform a observatory autopsy. :)
