I love these blue screens of death. Yesterday I had a problem with my extra hardware, and this error stayed up long enough for me to look at it, then get my camera and take a photo. BY the way everybody, join the ERROR flickr group,,, www.flickr.com/groups/error/
Computer work is almost always boring... even with an exciting competition happening in front of you.
This may look like a box of super sweet computer components... but it's actually a box full of Legos.
this is my little USB computer mouse. it has a 'wheel' in the middle that is very pleasant to touch, it gently moves down under pressure, when I roll my finger across it it scrolls the open window on ym computer screen. A subtle blue-green back-light glows in the dim light of my home as I use the arm of my sofa as a 'mouse-pad'.Most of the experience is way too sensuous to adequately convey here...

I began building it in the beginning of 1990 as an evening activity with the local Young Scientists club. At the time of this photo It's almost finished, apart from the clock-circuit, programming and debugging. The only hardware it lacks is capacitors for the clocks and the IC's, and some wiring for the serial interface.
Update May 14 2011 - I found the block drawing for it and the design for the clock circuit so I now know what capacitor I need to make it tick. Yay!
Update June 2021 - Finally got it working after thoroughly checking all the wirings and getting inspiration from the vast resources of internet.
This was Pentium 3 machine. The motherboard had already plenty of stability problems and it totally stopped working when I was playing with it and legos. The MB was from small size Fujitsu desktop. Everything was integerated to one MB. If I remember correctly, it was running Slackware 10.0.
